Rustdoctor Patch System

  • De-rusts areas too large to soak
  • Economical and re-usable
  • Use with Rustdoctor
  • Works at room temperature, requires no special equipment
  • Easy and safe to use
  • Safe on soft metals, plastic, rubber, PVC and other surfaces unharmed by water alone
DIRECTIONS
  1. Cut 2 pieces to fit and completely soak the orange pads in Rustdoctor.
  2. Place the two orange pads over the rusty surface, one on top of the other.
  3. Cut the plastic bag supplied to cover the pads by 1 inch on all sides. Cover the two pads with a single piece of the cut clear plastic and affix the magnets around the edges of the pads to hold the plastic and pads in place.
  4. Cut and apply the magnets over the plastic, as close to the patch as possible
  5. Make sure the magnets completely seal off the patches so as to eliminate unwanted evaporation. Tap lightly over entire patch to ensure good surface/patch contact.
  6. The complete removal of the rust will vary in time (1 - 24 hours) depending on the severity of the rust. Check the progress after 2 hours to familiarize yourself with the time required. The patched will turn black when the rust is removed.
  7. Once used, patches can be rinsed out and stored for re-use.
